Trump: Tesla Arsonists Are Terrorists

President Donald Trump issued a strong condemnation on Friday against individuals accused of targeting Tesla dealerships, referring to them as terrorists and promising harsh legal consequences with no possibility of pardons. Trump described the destruction as extreme, noting that multiple vehicles were burning and exploding in showrooms.

“These are terrorists,” Trump said. “When I looked at those showrooms burning and those cars— not one or two, but like seven, eight, ten— burning, exploding all over the place. You didn’t have that on January 6. I can tell you, you didn’t have anything like that on January 6.”

Trump emphasized that the nature of the attacks goes beyond vandalism or protest, labeling it an orchestrated campaign of domestic terror. He also highlighted the role of those financing the events, saying they are just as responsible as the people committing the acts.

According to Trump, the incidents are under active investigation by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice. He stated the matter is being treated very seriously and promised that there would be no leniency and no pardons for those found guilty.

Trump’s remarks reinforce a zero-tolerance stance and align with broader efforts to distinguish between civil unrest and targeted criminal destruction. The inclusion of Tesla as a high-profile target underscores the severity with which the administration views the incidents. As investigations continue, Trump has made it clear that accountability will be pursued without compromise.
