Trump Blasts Judge Boasberg

President Donald Trump has publicly criticized U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg, accusing him of being conflicted due to his connections with groups opposed to Trump’s immigration policies. In a Truth Social post, Trump said Boasberg should be disbarred, citing a report that the judge attended a legal conference funded by organizations with ties to anti-Trump initiatives.

The event in question was part of the Rodel Institute's Judicial Fellowship and featured sessions focused on democracy. Boasberg was among twelve judges who attended the conference, which was reportedly sponsored by foundations that have supported groups critical of Trump's past immigration actions.

Trump claimed that his ability to speak on the matter was restricted by a gag order. “They put me under a GAG ORDER so that I could not talk about it. Miscarriage of Justice,” he wrote.

The remarks come as Trump continues to challenge legal actions and rulings he views as politically motivated. His post has reignited debate over judicial impartiality, transparency in legal affiliations, and the broader political climate surrounding ongoing court cases involving the former president.

Boasberg has not responded publicly to Trump’s accusations, and it remains to be seen whether any formal action will be pursued in response to the claims. The incident adds to the growing list of confrontations between Trump and members of the judiciary overseeing cases related to his administration and post-presidency legal battles.
