Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna announced that a Ukrainian delegation will begin technical consultations with the United States in Washington on Friday, focusing on a minerals cooperation agreement. “Ukraine's commitment to a reliable dialogue with the US remains solid and sustainable,” Stefanishyna stated. She further revealed that efforts are also underway to form a joint reinvestment fund with the United States, intended to foster economic resilience and infrastructure development within Ukraine.

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink is reportedly planning to resign from her position before the end of her term. Sources indicate that Brink’s post in Kiev, designated as an unaccompanied station, has kept her separated from her family—an additional factor contributing to her decision. Brink was initially appointed as U.S. ambassador to Ukraine in 2022 and had reportedly tendered resignation papers earlier during the transition between U.S. administrations. However, her resignation was previously declined by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
