Musk: More Social Security Coming

Elon Musk, head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), assured Americans that ongoing reforms at the Social Security Administration (SSA) will lead to increased benefits for qualified recipients. Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Musk emphasized that DOGE’s efforts are designed to enhance—not reduce—Social Security support.

“What we're doing will help their benefits. Legitimate people, as a result of the work of DOGE, will receive more Social Security, not less,” Musk said. He added, “Let the record show that I said this and it will be prove to be true. Let's check back on this in the future.”

Musk positioned DOGE's work as historically significant, calling it a government transformation of revolutionary scale. “Well, this is a revolution. And I think it might be the biggest revolution in government since the original revolution. But at the end of the day, America is going to be in much better shape,” he stated.

Under Musk's leadership, DOGE has focused on eliminating waste, increasing efficiency, and modernizing outdated federal systems. The department’s reforms aim to redirect government resources toward critical public services, including Social Security, which supports millions of retired and disabled citizens across the United States.

Musk’s remarks come amid rising national concern about the sustainability of entitlement programs. His pledge that DOGE’s actions will strengthen rather than weaken Social Security may offer reassurance to current and future beneficiaries watching the program closely.

As the department continues its reforms, observers will monitor whether the promised improvements to Social Security benefits materialize. Musk's confident tone suggests he expects DOGE's legacy to be measured not only in savings, but in stronger, more effective public support systems.
